Luqman 16 - My son, God keeps the records of all the good and evil deeds, even if they are as small as a grain of mustard seed, hidden in a rock or in the heavens or the earth. God is Subtle and All-aware.

I don’t know if you have seen a grain of a mustard seed but it is as small as about 1 mm in diameter. The most common known sensitive weight in the market today is a jeweler’s weight. When 3–4 pieces of mustard seeds are put on this weight, the weight goes between 0.00 and (-) minus but still it can not show us the true weigh of the mustards. The jeweler’s weights can measure 1/100th of a gram but still it not delicate enough to show how sensitive the example that All Mighty wants us to understand in the verse above.

Well, would it be possible for us to fit all our worship to a praying mat that is 70 cm wide and 100 cm long?

Our Lord Almighty has chosen a role for each and every one of us on this short life. Our gender, our relatives, our languages…  We are all being judged according to the roles that we have been given.

To be the best child of our parents, to be the best parent of our children, to be the best family member of our relatives, to be the best passenger on the bus, to be the best driver while driving are just some of the roles we play in our everyday life. Depending on our behavior on each role we are judged constantly by them at all times. We can use each and every one of these roles to gain the good love of our Creator. This all shows us that there is not a single moment in our life that we are not worshipping our Lord Almighty and all our deeds are being recorded.

Jonah 61 We bear witness to all your affairs; whatever you recite from the Quran and whatever you do. Nothing in the heavens or the earth is hidden from your Lord, even that which is as small as an atom's weight or greater or smaller. All is recorded in the glorious Book.

- Whoever is not grateful to man is not grateful to Allah.*  In this hadith our Prophet (puh) shows us beautifully, how all our dialogs and actions in this world are directly connected with our Creator Almighty.

If we get involved with the people around us in order to get closer to our Creator, we are not disturbed by their wrong actions. We must never wait for others to appreciate our behavior and must try and please our Lord Almighty at all times. If we try and do the best action that pleases our Lord in every aspect of our lives, then there is almost no opportunity for devil (sheitan) to trick us and lead us away from Allah’s (swt) way.

To develop and keep up such awareness in our lives is only possible by holding firm to our Creator’s rope which is Holy Quran. (Al-Imran 103) Let us not forget however much we have the desire to will, we can not will unless Lord of the Worlds Allah (swt) wills.
